I never watched the 1978 series and it all seems like Mormon propaganda anyway.

The 2004 re-imagining is where this franchise really shines, but I must admit that it would be interesting to see a re-imagining of a re-imagining. I just hate to see what modern day Hollywood writers would do to characters like Kara “Starbuck” Thrace.

You could maybe even get Ronald D. Moore to even write for this new series.
